These Transylvanians basically need no introduction!

Formed back in 2003, their two albums (Utolsó vágta az Univerzumban & Hosszú út az örökkévalóságba) and their strange and unique Eps are true cult items and have been reprinted on several formats, thus spreading the unholy name in the four corners of the earth.

7 long years gone after the 2nd album, „Az alámerülés lárvái” is finally out, there for all of you and if you thought you were going to hear „rougher, darker and more deep music” then you are right!

Being the forefathers of the real Transylvanian Black Metal, the guys felt there was no need to stick to a music style which has lately degenerated into a commercial and mass orientated trend.

Therefore they went back to the really ancient, unpure and uniqe sound and imbued it with a large spiritual spectrum. As Lugosi himself says: "I'm not saying this is the best Siculicidium album. But it is the most important one. Definitely."

Az alámerülés lárvái (The larvae of the submergence) is a special concept album, an insane story, a neverending journey in the tartarean world and beyond, the oath has been made and you need to respect the deal, performed by: Pestifer & Lugosi

The concept album can be interpretated on lots of different levels, you got only the music, the Hungarian lyrics and the outstanding artwork (by Juha Vuorma), the rest of the homework you can do by yourself. If you do not give a flying fuck about the story, not a problem, without any mambo jambo you can just listen this great, true Black Metal record!

So, what the band asks you to do is to listen to their music with an open mind and with the right spirit, without trying to relate it to the present day trends and ass kissing attitude! But be sure that if you fail to understand their deep message, they won’t give a damn!

Bloody hell the vocals here are absolutely majestic; supremely dynamic with loads of variance in style while maintaining a visceral brutality. The atmospheric elements are gracefully and artfully intertwined but make no mistake, this is ruthless black metal first and foremost. Band synergy is also stunning and can be felt through my speakers; everything is just so masterfully packaged together. Faith

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
